Where exactly are you located?

What are your hours?

Visits are by appointment only. Our usual appointment hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, with appointments available on some Saturdays and Sundays. Weekend availability varies. Book online or call or text us to confirm an available appointment.

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

Every treatment appointment begins with an assessment of your face, your goals, and your medical history before anything is injected — that assessment is part of the visit, not something separate you have to arrange. If you are new to injectables or unsure what you want, you can also book a consultation on its own. A $100 deposit is collected when you book a consultation and is credited toward your treatment. It is forfeited for a no-show or a late cancellation — cancellations and rebooking need more than 72 hours' notice. If you already know what you want, we still review candidacy and risks with you at the visit before proceeding.

How do I pay, and do you offer payment plans?

We take payment at the time of service, and we also offer financing through Cherry, a third-party patient financing company that lets you split treatment costs into scheduled payments. Cherry approval, terms, and any interest are set by Cherry, not by us. Tox (Dysport, Jeuveau, Daxxify)

Does tox hurt?

Tox is injected with a very fine needle, and most people describe it as a quick pinch or sting that lasts a second or two per injection point. A full treatment typically takes only a few minutes. Comfort varies from person to person, and we can pause or use ice if you need it.

How long until tox starts working?

It is not instant. The Dysport label does not state an onset or peak-effect time for glabellar lines. In the published SAKURA 3 trial of Daxxify, peak response was seen between Weeks 2 and 4 [6]. Many people notice softening earlier than that, but we ask you to wait about two weeks before judging your result; if anything needs adjusting, contact us at that point.

How long does tox last, and does it differ by brand?

It differs, and the labels are specific about this. The Dysport label states that "the clinical effect of DYSPORT may last up to four months" [1]. For Daxxify, pooled phase 3 data (SAKURA 1 and 2) reported that treated patients maintained none or mild glabellar line severity for a median of 24.0 weeks [5], with SAKURA 3 reporting a median of 24 weeks to return to moderate or severe severity [6]. The Jeuveau label does not state a duration of effect, but like the others it directs that retreatment be given no more frequently than every three months [2].

Can I work out after tox?

Traditional advice has been to avoid exercise for several hours. A 2026 computational modeling study specifically tested that convention and found that within the first four hours after injection, toxin distribution "is shaped primarily by injection geometry and rapid target binding and is only weakly affected by everyday movements or mild environmental exposures" — while noting that clinical trials are still needed to confirm this [10]. Because that evidence is modeling rather than a trial, we still ask you to skip strenuous exercise, saunas, and face-down massage for 24 hours, and to avoid rubbing the treated area.

Will I look frozen?

Tox effects are dose-dependent, and a natural, mobile result comes from conservative dosing placed with your specific muscle pattern in mind. We would rather start lower and add at a follow-up visit than overtreat at the first visit. It is worth knowing that eyelid drooping (ptosis) is a recognized adverse reaction in the clinical trials for these products, reported in about 2% of treated patients for both Jeuveau [2] and Daxxify [3]. Individual results vary.

Do you offer Botox?

No. We do not stock Botox (Allergan's onabotulinumtoxinA). We carry three other FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A products — Dysport, Jeuveau, and Daxxify — all priced at $13 per Unit. Head-to-head studies comparing these products have produced mixed results, and unit dosing is not interchangeable between brands, so one product's units cannot be compared directly against another's. We choose the product based on your treatment area, your history with tox, and how you responded last time — not on a claim that one brand is better. Dermal filler

Which fillers do you use?

We stock the RHA Collection, Restylane, Revanesse Versa, and SkinVive (Juvéderm). Which one we use is judged at your visit, based on the area being treated, the result you want, and your history with filler, and we tell you which product we are using before we inject. Where the product we select is not FDA-approved for the area being treated, we tell you that the use is off-label before we treat. Our dermal filler page covers how the areas differ.

Does filler hurt, and do you numb?

Filler is more involved than tox, and we take comfort seriously. Discomfort varies by area — lips are generally more sensitive than cheeks, jawline, or the under-eye area. We numb with topical numbing cream, lidocaine mixed into the filler itself, dental or local nerve blocks, and ice. Which of those we use depends on the technique being used, the area being treated, and your own comfort, and we go through the plan with you before we start. Some pressure and pinching during the treatment is normal even with numbing.

How long does swelling last?

Swelling and bruising are the most common side effects of filler injection, along with bleeding and temporary lumps or bumps [11]. The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery notes that bruising "may last up to a week" [11]. Lips tend to swell the most and look their most swollen in the first 24 to 72 hours, so we recommend not booking filler within two weeks of an event you care about.

How long does filler last?

Hyaluronic acid fillers are temporary. The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery states that all hyaluronic acid soft-tissue fillers are temporary, "lasting anywhere from six months to two years, depending on the filler and type of procedure," with lip enhancement lasting up to six months [11]. Longer durability has been reported for some products: in a randomized, evaluator-blinded trial of 60 subjects, about 71–76% still showed blinded-evaluator-assessed aesthetic improvement at 12 months with the two specific hyaluronic acid gels studied [9]. Those were particular products under study conditions, and may not be the product selected for you. Your own longevity depends on the product, the area, your metabolism, and how much was placed. Individual results vary.

Can filler be dissolved if I change my mind?

Yes, if it is a hyaluronic acid filler. Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that hydrolyzes hyaluronic acid by splitting its glucosaminidic bond [4], and a 2023 review notes that hyaluronic acid "is rapidly degraded by the injection of hyaluronidase," which is what makes HA filler a reversible option [8]. We price filler reversal at $275 per vial of hyaluronidase. We bring you back at about two weeks to reassess, and if more dissolving is still needed at that point, it is again $275 per vial. Note that FDA-approved hyaluronidase products are labeled as dispersion agents, so their use to dissolve cosmetic filler is off-label but well established in aesthetic practice [4][7].

What if I don't like my result?

Come back and talk to us. Some concerns — asymmetry, a firm spot, incomplete correction — are best addressed with a follow-up assessment once swelling has fully settled, usually at about two weeks. If the result genuinely is not what you want and the product is hyaluronic acid, dissolving is available at $275 per vial of hyaluronidase. We would rather revisit a result with you than have you live with something you dislike.

Safety and credentials

Who will be injecting me?

Christylynn Vu, FNP-BC (a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center), who began her career in medical dermatology and serves on the SKMD Medical Team for Allergan Medical Institute, performs all injectable treatments at Bare.co. Her focus is facial balancing, lip enhancement, and regenerative treatments. Brandyn Dunn, MD, is the practice's Medical Director.

Are injectable treatments safe? What are the real risks?

They are prescription medical treatments with real risks, not spa services. All botulinum toxin products carry an FDA boxed warning that effects "may spread from the area of injection to produce symptoms consistent with botulinum toxin effects," and that "swallowing and breathing difficulties can be life threatening and there have been reports of death" [1][2][3]. Common reactions in the cosmetic trials were headache, injection-site pain and reaction, and eyelid ptosis [1][2][3]. For filler, common side effects include swelling, bruising, bleeding, and lumps, with less common problems including infection, allergic reaction, and filler migration [11].

What happens if something goes wrong?

We screen for candidacy and review risks with you before treatment, and we want you to contact us right away if something feels wrong — call or text (714) 276-8998. The hyaluronidase we keep is Hylenex [4]; if your allergy history is unknown, we patch-test before using it, and epinephrine is kept on site. Vascular complications from filler are uncommon but are a genuine emergency, and hyaluronidase is the accepted treatment for hyaluronic acid filler complications, with high-dose immediate treatment used for vascular occlusion [7]. If you develop severe or worsening pain, skin blanching or dusky discoloration, or any vision change after filler, treat it as urgent and seek immediate care.

Can I be treated while pregnant or breastfeeding?

No. We do not perform any medical aesthetic treatments on pregnant or breastfeeding women — that is our practice policy. The Dysport label states it "should only be used during pregnancy if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus" [1], the Jeuveau label states available data in pregnant women "are insufficient to inform a drug associated risk" [2], and the Daxxify label states there are no available data in pregnant women [3]. All three labels also state there are no data on whether the product is present in human milk or on effects on the breastfed infant [1][2][3].

Am I a good candidate?

Most healthy adults who want softening of expression lines or restoration of facial volume can be considered, but not everyone is a candidate. We do not treat during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and we do not treat into an active skin infection at the planned injection site or when there is a known hypersensitivity to the product. Certain neuromuscular conditions, bleeding disorders, blood thinners, and prior filler in the area all change the conversation, which is why we take a full history first. Individual results vary.

Pricing

Why is tox priced per Unit instead of per area?

Because the amount of product needed is genuinely different from person to person. A Unit is a measure of the neurotoxin itself, so per-Unit pricing means you pay for exactly what is used rather than a flat area fee that may over- or under-treat you. Muscle strength, treatment area, and how you want to look all affect the number of Units. Our $13 per Unit price is per Botox-equivalent Unit. Dysport's own label doses are written in Dysport Units, a different measure, so your bill will not match the label's numbers one-for-one; your Unit count and written total are confirmed at your consultation. The Dysport label itself states that its potency Units "are specific to the preparation and assay method utilized" and "are not interchangeable with other preparations of botulinum toxin products" [1]. For cosmetic use, Dysport, Jeuveau and Daxxify are FDA-approved only for the frown lines between the brows; treating other areas such as forehead lines or crow's feet is off-label use of an FDA-approved product [1][2][3].

Prices current as of September 2026. Filler reversal is $275 per vial of hyaluronidase; if more dissolving is still needed at the two-week reassessment, it is again $275 per vial. Most Sculptra plans use more than one vial; the total is confirmed in writing at your consultation. The $750 Full Lip covers up to one full syringe and the $500 Half Lip is the smaller treatment; how much is actually placed is judged at the visit, because we would rather respect your natural anatomy and lip integrity than use up product. Microneedling at $500 is done with the SkinPen glide, the topical used during the procedure; the PRF option is $650 per session and the PDRN option is $800 per session, and which option is appropriate for you is discussed at your consultation. SkinVive is offered both for the cheeks and for neck lines, at $500 either way; SKINVIVE by JUVÉDERM is FDA-approved for intradermal injection to improve skin smoothness of the cheeks and for intradermal and/or subdermal injection to reduce neck lines for improvement of neck appearance in adults over the age of 21 [12]. Membership is $150 per year and includes 10% off all injectables, 10% off all skin health and Spa Den treatments, 15% off retail skin products, access to package promotions, quarterly member-only promotions, and a $25 birthday coupon toward any service or product during the member's birthday month.

Filler placed in the under-eye (tear-trough) and temple areas may be an off-label use of the specific product selected, depending on the product chosen; jawline filler is an off-label use of an FDA-approved filler, because none of the fillers we stock carries an FDA jawline indication.
