Our policies are designed to ensure fairness, clarity, and a high standard of care for both clients and our staff. Please read the following carefully:

Booking & Deposits

  • Deposit Requirement: All appointments require a $100 deposit at the time of booking to secure your time slot. The deposit amount will be applied toward the cost of your service on the day of your appointment.

  • No refunds on deposits: All booking deposits are non-refundable. By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge and agree that your deposit will not be returned under any circumstance, including but not limited to no-shows, late cancellations, or same-day appointment changes.

    In the rare event that Bare.co must cancel your appointment and is unable to offer a reasonable alternative time (for example, due to provider illness, emergency, or an unforeseen office or equipment issue), your deposit will either be refunded or applied to a future appointment, at your preference.

  • Confirmation of Booking: An appointment is only confirmed once the required deposit is paid. We reserve the right to release or cancel unconfirmed time slots if a deposit is not received.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • 72-Hour Notice Required: To avoid forfeiting your deposit, you must cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 72 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Any cancellation or reschedule request made less than 72 hours before your appointment is considered a late cancellation and will result in forfeiture of your deposit. A new deposit will be required to book a future appointment.

  • Rescheduling: If you reschedule with at least 72 hours’ notice, your deposit will be transferred to your new appointment date, subject to availability.

  • deposit policy (non-refundable): All deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your appointment (rather than reschedule), your deposit will be forfeited, even if more than 72 hours’ notice is given.

Late Arrival & No-Show

Our goal is to provide all clients with timely and high-quality service. Please plan to arrive on time for your appointment:

  • 15-Minute Grace Period: We allow a 15-minute grace period for late arrival. If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible. Arrivals within 15 minutes after the scheduled time will be accommodated when feasible; however, your treatment time may be shortened as needed to avoid inconveniencing the next client.

  • Late Arrivals Beyond 15 Minutes: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and treat it as a no-show. In this event, your appointment and deposit is forfeited. You will need to pay a new deposit to book a new appointment.

  • No-Shows: No-shows will result in automatic forfeiture of your deposit. We will charge the deposit as a no-show fee for the missed session. We may require clients who fail to show up for an appointment to provide a credit card on file for any new bookings.

    Consistent failure to arrive on time or to give proper notice of cancellation may result in restrictions on booking future appointments or refusal of service.

Fees, Payment, & Refund Policy

  • Service Fees: All service fees (minus any deposit paid) are due at the time of service. We accept [list accepted payment forms, e.g. major credit cards, cash]. Prices for services are listed on our website and agreed upon prior to treatment.

  • No Refunds on Services: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for any services rendered. Cosmetic results can vary greatly between individuals, and while our trained providers strive for optimal outcomes, specific results are not guaranteed. By proceeding with a treatment, you acknowledge that you understand and accept that results may vary and that additional treatments (at additional cost) might be required to achieve your desired results.

  • Packages and Pre-Paid Treatments: Pre-paid treatment packages or gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Any special terms for packages (expiration dates, etc.) will be provided in writing at the time of purchase.

  • Product Purchases: Opened or used skincare products are typically not refundable. Defective products may be exchanged in accordance with our separate product return policy.

  • Grace Period for Certain Sales (California Law): We abide by all California state laws regarding consumer rights. If any service or membership sale is subject to a statutory cancellation period (for example, certain multi-session packages or memberships might allow a short cancellation window under law), we will honor such rights in accordance with California Business & Professions Code or other applicable. (Please inquire at the time of purchase if you believe your purchase qualifies for such a cancellation period.)

Health disclosure & treatment expectations

  • Health Information & informed consent: Because we offer medical aesthetic treatments, you will be required to complete a medical history and sign appropriate informed consent forms prior to your procedure. You are responsible for providing truthful, complete, and up-to-date health information before each treatment. We rely on this information to determine your suitability for procedures. The med spa is not liable for complications or injuries that arise from undisclosed health issues or misinformation provided by the client.

  • Satisfaction and Additional Treatments: We strive for client satisfaction. While we do not guarantee any specific outcome, we will work with you on reasonable solutions if you have concerns about your results. This may include scheduling follow-up assessments or recommending additional treatments (additional charges may apply). However, dissatisfaction with a provided service is not grounds for a refund given the subjective and variable nature of cosmetic results. We appreciate your understanding that each individual responds differently to treatments.

Professional Conduct & Right to Refuse Service

  • Client Behavior: We require that clients treat our staff and facility with respect and courtesy at all times. Any form of harassment, inappropriate behavior, violence, or abuse toward our employees or other clients will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a procedure in progress if a client displays inappropriate or unsafe behavior.

  • Suitable Candidates: Our medical professionals have an obligation to ensure treatments are appropriate for you. We reserve the right to decline or defer services if, in our professional judgment, a treatment is not in your best interest. This will always be discussed with you. If a treatment is halted or canceled for your safety or due to your non-compliance with pre/post care or conduct, you may still be responsible for partial or full charges of the appointment, at our discretion.

  • Right to Refuse Service: We explicitly reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason. Grounds for refusal may include, but are not limited to, a history of no-shows or late cancellations, inappropriate or threatening behavior, medical contraindications, or failing to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Such a decision will typically be communicated to the client along with any conditions under which we might reconsider providing services in the future.

Changes to Policies

We may update or modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time as our business or legal requirements evolve. We will note the “Effective Date” at the top of this document for reference. By continuing to use our services or maintain appointments after changes to the terms, you agree to be bound by the updated policies.

Acknowledgment

By booking an appointment or receiving services at our med spa, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. These policies are established to ensure a safe, professional, and fair experience for all our clients.
